In the network settings, right-click on the wifi adapter and choose the option “properties” In the Properties section, untick the option “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” to disable the IPv6 platform.

Here, tickmark the option “Use the following DNS server addresses” and enter the following details :

Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

After doing that, hit the ok button and close the network settings. After closing the network settings, click on the start menu and type “CMD”
select the option “Run as administrator” to open the command prompt in the admin mode. In the command prompt type the following command and hit enter to proceed :

Ipconfig /flushdns

Once done close the command prompt and run the Valorant again and this time your problem of the Valorant microphone not working will be resolved.

TIP: If you have an audio interface with more than 1 input. You have to plug your microphone into the first input or Valorant will not recognize it.

Reduce audio interface sample and bit rate

Select the first option to open the “Control Panel” of your Windows.

Generally by default the option of “48000 Hz (DVD Quality)” is chosen, so here you need to choose the other option of “44100 Hz (CD Quality)“

After doing that hit the “Apply” and Ok button to save the changes.
